This eye-catching piece of art is both stunning as well as functional, making it the perfect addition to any Star Wars fan’s living room, office, fan cave or home theater. Loaded with detail, the ship was derived from a digital model provided by Lucasfilm, modified, first digitally, to allow the parts to be printed in high detail, and then by hand over the course of many weeks, as our artists prepared the iconic ship to be molded. Each of the ship’s parts are then cast, hand painted and assembled for a one of a kind hand painted finish. The Millennium Falcon™ is represented here at just over 20 inches long, rotational cast in polyurethane, with a semi-hollow rigid foam core for stability. The fiberglass base represents a section of a fifth, much larger asteroid and all elements are hand painted by our artists. Then each asteroid was individually molded for casting in the semi-hollow resin and foam, with internal steel bracing running through each to support the elegant 1/2“ thick racetrack oval tempered glass table top.
